Kuota Kharma (1)

Anyone know anything about this bike? I am in the early stages of looking for a good road bike, spec’d with Ultegra, sub-$3k. This fits my early criteria, anyone have any more info?

I just got the K-Factor and I really like the feel of it. Smooth, stiff BB, too. Oh, be prepared for a LOT of Cervelo replies (not that there is anything wrong with that:)

Kuota’s are now out. Speedo’s and Cannondale’s are in.

I am going retro ; )

and by the way…I have had a Cannondale for the last 4 years, now that it is cool I don’t even want it anymore…

I’ll take that cannondale off your hands… Heck I’ll even pay for you to ship it to me

I love my Kharma (and my wife for buying it for me!). I have mine spec’d up with the AmClassic 420’s, some DA cranks, and carbon Profile Dromo Pro bars. Rides like a dream. Very light and stiff. Tough too, as I ride some rough roads when I commute to work with it. I’d definitely recommend one.

It is a pretty classy frame.

What do you want to know?

Mine is a medium nude carbon with Centaur 10spd in century grey with FSA gossamer megaExo cranks, Easton Tempest (non-carbon) clinchers, Fizik Arione saddle, F99 stem and Deda 215 bars.

With Shimano PDM515 mtb pedals (ha no $$ for new shoes and pedals), it weighs just under 18 lbs with continental attack/force tires and about an inch worth of extra lot of fork tube and spacers (I was playing with the fit…)

I run it with oval A910 carbon clips for sprint tris/dus…

nice and stiff in the BB - comfortable, and very fast

Frameset comes with full carbon fork, carbon seatpost and FSA headset…the painted versions are really purty but why cover up all that sweet carbon weave?..

I got mine at waypastfast in Edmonton who had the best price in Canada (that I could find)
