Anyone know where you can check out this years Ironman. I assume it will be a week or two later on NBC after its been adulterated with 5-10 human interest stories.
November 20 - NBC 4:00-6:00 PM EST
.
In previous years, a local Kona TV station has broadcast the raw feed live (with some announcing on the same level of detail and interest as Ironmanlive.com). Given technology advances, does anyone know if we could draw that feed online?
I thought Ironmanlive’s coverage last year was surprisingly good. You really don’t get anything close to a feel for the race in the 2 hr-minus-commercial-minus-unending-drama slots. If you can, spend the whole day watching it on the net - it’s a different experience, even if the picture is a bit fuzzy.

I watched the last 6 hours of the pro race last year and it was great. I plan to be off and on watching the race this year. I will catch the pros coming out of the water and probably watch the last 4 hours of the race again this year.
I also want to watch some of the final finishers come through. Those are the fun ones to watch.
