Kona + Clearwater = bad idea?

Any thoughts on recovery time - is 29 days enough to race both well?

Anyone have any personal experience from doing both last year?

Any reason to believe that Clearwater will be better run and worth the long trip from HI? I bought my Kona tickets for $9 each way yesterday - if only it were that cheap to get to Clearwater…

Quite a few athletes did both Kona and the 70.3 last year. A number were on the podium for both races. Your success would depend on your base fitness level and how much your race in Kona takes out of you.

Use an active recovery method to keep yourself loose immediately after Kona.

Thanks, support crew, for your input - I’m not quite the badass that you support, but I am a fan of active recovery. Alii drive the morning after is a fun shuffle.
