20 days out now. Wondering what others are doing? I always struggle with tapers. Too much or too little which way to err on the side of. Especially this week. I am going to IMH for my 5x time & I’ve never had a race performance on par with my abilities. I’d like to do something better.
Looking at my season so far with my last half IM on Sat (done with some restraint more at IM pacing & simulation) I’ve done alot so far with many of the races at IM training pace or an endurance bike ride chased by a half marathon. With my volume I really feel like I’ll be just twiddling my thumbs and detraining and getting sluggish.

I planned something like this but am wondering if just going shorter might be better & getting more rest with doing yoga more than 1x a week.
