A belated congratulations to all of you Kona triathletes! My wife and I are were there as a spectators last weekend and I have to admit it was an incredibly enjoyable experience to spectate it from the sidelines, cheer people on throughout the day and be at the finish until midnight (we were let into the VIP stands right by the arch at around 10:30 PM, which made it that much better!).

Here are a bunch of photos that I took right at the crest of the Palani to Queen K intersection on the outbound leg:

Some of the photos are good, some of them are so-so and some of them are crap, but I put them up there for all to enjoy. I release all rights to these photos if you would like to download them, put them on your web site, print them or even make money off of them… Special thanks to those of you who posed for your shots!

I will post a “spectating report” this weekend if I get a chance, but until then, enjoy these - and congratulations again.

I wasn’t there, but this is very nice of you. One thing I noticed is that the AG’ers are far more kitted-out today than they were when I was there in 1991 and 2001!

Dude that is awesome that you not only shot the pix but that you took the time to list everyone’s bib number. Unfortunately I didn’t make it on the list but really cool of you to do this.
