Has anyone had experience with HGH injections in the knee joint for OA and cartilage regeneration? I just had my 5th knee (same) scope and learned I am now bone on bone. OS says I am headed for an TKR if I keep up my IM running/racing. Of course, this is hardly an option at this point! The weird part is - I have very little pain - just enough to get cleaned up every 1-2 years and then we find how bad it really is inside the knee. I am not talking about Synvic but actual HGH. I don’t have any experience with IAGH, but it sounds promising for my wife’s knees and my ankles. We’ve read about Synvisc and Durolane and are trying to determine if any of the treatments really work. Like you, I’d like to hear from folks with experience with any of these injections.
I get the Synvisc injections every couple of years or so for my right knww. had it scoped in 2001 and had a 70% meniscus removal. Ifeel like they do help, but it is only temporary, and that is what it is meant to be.
