Nice race Ken. I gotta get in the pool. A 4th place for me at Sunset (I’ve yet to podium at a tri), but at least I age up to 35-39 next week (which might help or hurt depending on the race).

“Wins” is hardly the description. I came in 13th overall, only :07 out of 10th. Yes, I won my AG (by over 4 minutes). I missed the overall masters win (worth $75 cash dollars) by :03 to someone in the next wave who is 50. It was nice to lead out of the water (40-49 wave), and not get passed the rest of the way. It was really nice to be in a non-wetsuit race, and not hassle with that thing for a change. They had plaques instead of certificates; quite the improvement. That check would’ve been even better…
stop being so modest (although getting your entry fee back would be nice)
