After 36 hours of labor, Kimberly and Kevin Grogan announce that Gavin James came to us last night at 5:29 weighing in at a wopping 8 lb. 7oz…measuring 21 inches long… Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers… Mom and Gavin are both doing well. 
36 Hours? I think we can put you down as doing a Triple Ironman. Well, at least for Kimberly!!

Kevin–Congratulations. What a beautiful baby! They usually have squishy heads, but Gavin’s seems like he is already grown-up, head-wise.

There’s nothing like being a Dad…especially a TriDad!
My daughter is a few months shy of 13,and she loves the whole lifestyle.
She’s at all my events as a volunteer,…she’s a pro at taking off Timing chips straps…cheering on the athletes.
Her and her girlfriends are big at IMLP.
I hope you get to experience that too with Gavin ( The Mini G ? )

Thanks for all the kind wishes ST guys! Things are going really well here. Mom will be back on her bike before she knows it. She is the real triathlete…I just do triathlons.
Measure his inseam and we’ll get Tom started on the bike. Well, maybe we should wait a year or two.

Kevin–When you called tonight I was with my brother. My dad had two sons, I had two sones, my brother had two sons and one of his sones had two sons. Kimberly has had enough recovery time–get started on number 2.

Congratulations! Brings back lots of wonderful memories of when my boys were born. I sometimes have a hard time remembering that they once were that small, sweet and helpless. Enjoy every day and there is no such thing as too many pictures. I wish I had taken more.
