Kiwami Kameleon : how performant is it?

Does anybody tried it ?
How about comfort on the bike, and during the run ?
Is it ok to use it when the weather is hot ?

Define “hot.” And it also depends on your build and your tolerance of heat. I certainly wouldn’t say it’s designed for really hot weather (say Kona). But for weather in the 70s, it might be fine. Would also depend on humidity. And how much shade there is, since the legs are black rubber, which is definitely going to be hotter in the sun.

For what it’s worth, here is what Felipe Bastos wrote recently: Today I celebrated my 35th career victory at one of the great Southern Classics - The Heart O’ Dixie Triathlon. It was quite a special one. First, the field was compromised of some of the tougher names of the South, and I knew winning would take a special effort. (…) It was the first time I raced on the Kameleon, and it really saved my thighs from a great deal of damage. Surprisingly, the suit is not torn or ripped!! The stitching suffered some, but not nearly as I had expected. I was amazed at how the suit felt in the water. I could clearly feel I was more buoyant than everyone else. (…) Dont hesitate to contact me with specific questions. THx.

Hi Larry,
We have some clients interested in the Kiwami Kameleon for the next IM Cozumel.
The water temperature is between 74 and 84 F.
So I wonder if the Kameleon could make the job.

I am racing PumpkinMan in Maine this weekend and will in all likelyhood race the Kameleon (my other choice is the Kaiman).

At Heart O’ Dixie, the Kameleon did not get hotter than other suits I’ve raced in even though the temps were in the low 90’s when we hit the 7 mile run. There was little shade on the rolling course and I was not once worried about overheating.
