Did anyone catch this new show? I’m interested since it’s a “present day” fiction/drama based on the story of King David from the Bible. Kind of a strange time (with the steady move toward secularism) for a network to have an entire series based on Biblical scripture.
I don’t think the imaginary move toward secularism gets in the way of the fact that the Bible has some damn good stories in it. Since the bible is so old it’s stories are at the base of so many fictional experiences that it could be the greatest work of fiction of all time.
I just discovered it today on Hulu. I watching right now and it looks promising. The David vs Goliath “fight” was interesting.
As a fiction/drama show looks good. The minute they start throwing some religious agenda (which I don´t think they will) I´ll stop watching.
I watched it. It was ok…
I missed it and am bummed. I really liked Ian McShane in Deadwood. I might catch it on Hulu.
