Ahh Penticton. I love this town. Arrived Friday at ~17:30 and called Paulo, who was out riding. So I went for a walk, and with most of the athletes out at the banquet it was really quiet. Ran into the “super secret late entry” and chatted for a bit. Then it was off to jonnyo’s to chill for a while. Out for dinner with Paulo, and then Miranda came by with Peter Reid’s bike.
Today I wandered around the expo for a bit, and hooked up with mlbdenver (now monicab) for coffee. Went to see the Team Timex panel, where they brought out the hottie patrol - well, for the ladies, anyway. (Sorry Kyle - you just don’t do it for me) After that it was the ST meeting @ Fibonacci. Jaylew & tribodyboarder dropped by briefly, as did YVR K. Miranda was there with her posse, and Paulo came by on the Peter Reid bike. Andy showed up with Phil, and they stuck it out for the long haul along with Kerry & Carl. I think that was it, but if I missed you, sorry.
Everyone’s gone home to chill out before the race. Tomorrow’s gonna kick ass.

While Peter Reid’s bike was riding around town the Great One was meeting with the TV crew finalizing the plans for tommorow’s live coverage. Peter and Jasper Blake will be our special guests for the show while low-lifes like myself and Paul Huddle host. Special guest apperences by Michael Lovato and the Queen of Kona, Paula Newby-Fraser are also planned. Be sure to tune in.

You looked to be pretty busy there by the beach, so I guess it was a pretty successful week for Nineteen. Great to see.
I actually took the Peter Reid bike out for a very brief spin around the expo while he was signing autographs at the TP Massage booth. Did a trackstand where people were lining up to meet him to see if he noticed some midget clown on his bike, but he was busy…
So what’s the story with the Peter Reid bike? Why is it in town if Peter’s not on it and how come you guys all have access to it? And why’s Jen not there?
