I bought a new Kestrel Talon SL in Feb this year and crashed it 1 month ago and broke the frame!! Fortunately I was not hurt. Tried to get a new frame under the Kestrel “no fault” warranty and wrote to them. Got a reply to saw off the front and rear dropouts (which I did) and wait for an authorization code then mail the dropouts to them. Have been waiting for the code for the last 4 weeks. No reply despite my e-mails. Hope I haven’t destroyed a perfectly good fork which I could have used to build a new bike with by cutting off the dropouts! Anyone has any experience with Kestrel?
I always found Kestrel service to be excellent and fast responses to e mails. Might I suggest you ring direct and get your answer that way?
Kestrel has always been very helpful to me for problems big or small. I’ve always had good luck via email, but the phone is better…
