Opinions wanted… My girlfriend is looking for a new bike and it’s down to a Kestrel 500 EMS at $1500 for the frame ($1000 off list and I know that they don’t make this anymore) or a built Trek 5200 Women’s Specific Design with Ultegra & mixed Bontrager components for $2700. The Kestrel is more bike for the money but sure looks funky and is an older model. The Trek is a winner but a rather boring one and actually is more expensive than the Kestrel even with the bontrager and trek branded parts. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Tai
Ignore the price; buy the one that fits best. If they both fit perfectly, buy the Trek.
