Kestrel 4000 Frame Size -- 5'10" 32" Inseam

I’m 5’10" with a 32" inseam and good flexibility. Want a fast rig for Olympic distance races. Advice on 55cm vs. 52.5cm in the Kestrel 4000?

I’m on the 55. I’m 6’ and 33" inseam. My roadbikes are usually 58s and tri bikes 56.
With the 55 I’m using all the spacers but I’ve never taken a very aggressive position.

I’m 6’0 with 34’’ inseam. I’m on a 55 and I get a great position. I love the bike, it’s fast and comfortable. And since it’s been around for a few years, you can get a great price on the 4000

Agree with others. I’m on the 55. 5’10 ~32inseam.

Thanks Frank. At your size did you ever consider the 52.5? We took height off the saddle and applied a shorter stem – fitter thinks the setup is good but I’m a bit paranoid so trying to make sure 55 was right choice vs 52.5

Guess I’m the odd one. 5’11" 32in inseam and on a 57.5.
