Hey all,
I’m trying to find this area around the Lake City Ammo Plant that features these long flat roads. I have heard from a few friends about them, but I just know general vicinity and I can’t for the life of me figure out exactly where the best spot is. I have heard reports of a “very flat” (well, it is in MO) 20 mile stretch that you can just ride back and forth when training for long flat races (like IMFL) that supposedly is low traffic. Anybody have the details??
I tried USATF’ing it out, and my buddy that told me about it is in EUR, but I need to know now, dangit!
It’s somewhere in the vicintiy of 78 hwy, Lake City Rd, 7 hwy, 24/ 224 from Independence to Lexington. I know. I know. That’s as narrow as I can get it down.
