I just received my 2004 P2K from the Inside-Out Sports deal. I was concerned that the bike would not fit me. I’m 5’9" and the bike is a 54. I’ve only ridden road bikes up until now so I have no experience with triathlon bikes. How does my position look? I appreciate the help - thanks.
Hopefully, that yellow thing between your legs is the tip of your saddle in which case you can scoot forward a little to improve your position over the bars and allow your arms to support your upper body using the sketal strength rather than the muscles doning the work. Also, your blacking out your head so vigorously makes it difficult to see the angle of your head and if you can look forward properly.
Nice touch with the packing boxes in the background to prove it had just arrived
Remove the spacers under the stem. Lower the saddle accordingly. Send another photo when you’ve done this … but don’t take it when there’s a full moon this time.
Agree with above, but it looks better than this position:
Alright you Slowtwitch stalker, how the heck did you find me?? haha - I guess I won’t have to “smoke” my head in future pictures.
Thanks for the advice guys - I’ll lower the seat post and flip it around to move more forward.
The bike came assembled with a ton of spacers so I removed them from underneath the stem and put them on top, but I can’t drop the stem any lower because of the FSA headset… any ideas?
(and my cat isn’t fat!.. that’s just a pooch of skin)

Yes - with the FSA integrated headset, the 10mm ‘cone’ shaped carbon spacer is mainly cosmetic to smooth the lines from the top of the headset. The real dust shield for the headset is a separate peice directly underneath the ‘cone’ shaped carbon spacer which can be removed and replaced with a conventional 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, or 10mm carbon or alloy spacer.
