She (Maxine Bahns) was behind me late in the day during Kona 2001, and I was surprised at how small she was when we passed on the out and back section of Allii. She hung in and finished on a day when the winds were blowing my big old 185 pounds around…I don’t know how she hung on to her bike during that ride as slight as she is…
I have dated three female triathletes. All three even more psycho by a substantial margin than myself. All three continuing to engage in the identical behavior that I found so distressing. All three completely incapable of examining their own behavior and taking responsibility for it. As far as they are concerned- it is just a matter of “finding the right guy” and they keep going through them and going through them and going through them.
