Just got my new PowerBeam Pro with Joule 3.0, everything seems to be working fine, but I cant get the Joule to “start” the workout timer. It is recording distance but not time and other time related data. The manual says it should start automatically once the power data is picked up, but I get power data, speed, cadence, hr, but no time…what am I doing wrong?
Nevermind…had “record data” set to HR and didnt have my HR monitor on that time…changed it to speed now.
I wish they just had a darn start/stop button…seems too easy
I was going to suggest that, but then you had explicitly said you had HR on screen so I diodn’t want to look daft… 
I swapped mine to trigger on speed as I’m not intendign to use the ANT+ heartstrap all the time.
I’ve a Joule 2, and I agree with the start / stop system. Still getting to grips with the whole menu process. But love the 8 item screen display.
