JoshAtZipp - Help w/Crash Replacement

Josh,

I was hoping for some insight on how my situation might be handled.

I toasted both of my 1 year old 404s tonight in a weekly crit when someone looked back during the final sprint, swerved off their line and took me out. I was pushed off the road and over some concrete parking barriers that line the edge of the course. Both wheels hit the barriers, but I was lucky enough to partially pull the front end of the bike up enough to keep me from going over the front of the bike, but still clipped the barrier enough to trash the front rim. The rear took an even more severe impact causing the rim sidewall to open up. The one bit of good news is that I was able to stay rubber side down. The guy that caused the crash went down hard as he lost control when he bumped me. He hit me hard enough that the only pain I have is from a forearm bruise from him bumping me. I’ve never been bumped quite that hard before. Our team was sponsored by Zipp last season when I purchased them. Bad timing as I’ve got races planned for the two coming weekends where I’m forced to use the training wheels for now. How do you think the Zipp crash replacement policy might address my situation, and how quickly do you think I might be back in business? You can PM me if you feel it is more appropriate.

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Here’s a peek at the damage:

The photos at this size don’t show just how bad the damage is, but it is obvious that they are trashed.
