Jonnyo WINS the 2007 NB Half-Iron (Victoria, BC)

Jonnyo cleaned house, posting the second fastest swim, bike, and run to claim the victory overall, including besting a whole bunch of good relay teams. Way to Jonnyo. It must have been breakfast at DeDutch with me on Saturday, yes, I’m sure of it…

(*Note: the run is 20K, not 21.1K, so remember that looking at run splits)

I think it was definitely the DeDutch breakfast!! though he should have had the burger.

Good job Jonnyo!

Looks like the next closest finisher was 4 min behind… and was a relay!

Good job, Jonny!!!

Congrats Jonathan!

But it does look like he only beat the first woman by 24 minutes and change, so he may not have won the money (they had a 25 minute head start). I would have loved to see that finish, though!

Jodi

I think it was a course record, too. Previous record looks like
** 1999**

Nope,
they cut 10k of the bike and part of the run for some reason. It was done a couple weeks ago, so no.

But good job crushing the field!

Damn! Way to go Jonnyo!!
Awesome job, way to keep it rolling for IMC and put that bad luck from Oliver behind you!

Congrats, jonnyo!

Congrats jonnyo!

Nice going Jonnyo!!!

Excellent job Jonnyo - now go have some ice-cream or cheesecake.

Yeah, he had a good show today. Kicked some butt! To answer above, he definitely had a 5 o’clock shadow going on. And a nice speech at the end, he was making the womens smile!

thank rappstar…

actually the fastest run and bike split of the day… the 2 other where relay…chasing my as the started 5 minutes down on me. The womens were starting 25 minutes before me and the first at the finish line was getting the 500$ cach bonus… i got second 41 secondes down on Heather after empting the tank on the run… i really wanted this money bad!!! oh well, that shows how important is the swim and how i need to get back to my good swimming times…

i will write more later when i get pictures!!

ok…jordan…we have a technical bike fit/equipement session tonight… I need your help getting more invisible to the wind!!!
