Good luck you fucking piece of shit.
Ya this was 17 years ago and many people have this in their rear view mirror but it matters especially as was honor Memorial Day.

I wonder if he might grow paranoid constantly looking over his shoulder for the FBI or others who will be watching him. He could be willing to accept a one way ticket and air drop to rejoin his comrades in some taliban village in Afghanistan.
Since his capture and imprisonment, precedent has been set with drone strikes on american citizen enemy combatants overseas. Could we then do a “do over” that Trump might approve of?
Hopefully he will have a change of heart and mind, become a model citizen and run for political office. He has served his sentence. I wish for him only the best.
My bad angel and good angel on either shoulder keep f****ing with me.
In prison, he became an Irish citizen. I’m not sure how long his travel restrictions may be in place, but I suspect he’ll head off to Ireland as soon as possible. I suspect he’ll have some issues here in the US.
He ain’t leaving US .
So no redemption and second chances for those who’ve paid their debt to society?

Really?
If you don’t mind how old are you?
You wish him the best? Best of what?
No, not as a parolee for the next 2 years. I would not bet against that move after that.
Right on queue ,Bravo Zulu young lady.

I have no idea what that means, except that you don’t want to discuss it like an adult. And that’s ok.

I think we should let the families.of soldiers killed by the Taliban decide if his debt is paid.

I think the question here is whether or not his debt has actually been paid. I for one would have been happy to see him spend the rest of his days behind bars, so early release is rather difficult for me to process. I would bet that the Spann family feels the same way.

If you are going to throw my quote out there, do it correctly. How old? I had been retired from the US Navy for 7 years when this scumbag was apprehended. He was tried, found guilty, served his sentence with time off for good behavior, his sentence may have been less than I wanted, but it has been served. I am old enough now to know it is best to listen to my good angel and not that bad angel. He is a free and unencumbered citizen after serving his parole. Just as I wish the best for you, I wish the best for him.
All that said, if he doesn’t change his tune wrt sympathy for ISIS, his road will be rocky.
Google it
.
Kay, BZ is the allied tactical signal for “Well done”. I think he is being immature and sarcastic. Might I also throw a non sarcastic Bravo Zulu your way for asking a reasonable and pertinent question. I’ve got plenty of BZ’s to go around. I hope his response is worthy of one.

Except of course, for the fact that that’s not how things work in a society based on due process and rule of law.
Thanks brother I taped out MMCS in 2005 and had 2 Marine nephews that served in the sand pit, no problem.

So you don’t support abiding by the rule of law?

So, your point? You, your family and how many others? The line forms at the rear. Don’t give me your backhanded, “thanks brother”. Give me your true patriot self and do yourself proud. Let it go and do right as a respected and respectful civilian citizen who once served proudly and honorably. My deepest condolences for the loss of your 2 nephews.
Semper Fi.
I have no beef with you.
Also my nephews are doing well they did 2 tours.

No one is asking you to feel good about the outcome, a lot of us share your feelings. Poorly timed for sure with Memorial Day upcoming. If Mr Lindh wants nothing but bad for this country and only good for the bad guys, it will not end well for him. I pray he has a change of mind. Maybe the boy will get a piece of ass, fall in love with Miss right and change his tune. If he doesn’t, hopefully his unwell ending is without assist from otherwise honorable civilian citizens and without loss of life of innocents. Thank God you still have your nephews and I can withdraw my condolences.
And so I end my beef with you.
