Joel Friels Heart Rate Zones

Can anyone tell me these heart rate zones?

What is the best way to figure out Aerobic Threshold?

Friel bases his zones on LTHR. They are:

1: 65-82% of LTHR
2: 83-89%
3: 90-93%
4: 94-99%
5a: 100-102%

I don’t have 5b and 5c zones recorded.

Joe has recommended a few ways of calculating LTHR. Easiest is the half hour TT, where you take the average HR for the final 20 minutes. Its not perfect, but its as good as place to start as any.
