I just finished business school at The University of Chicago. You know what I call the students who chose investment banking? Suckers.
Are you looking for an i-banking hookup or are you looking for advice as to whether you should go into i-banking? If its the later and you are the age of an analyst go to NY or SF or don’t bother. The only reason to go into ibanking as an analyst is to get into a top b-school. The pain is not worth it otherwise.
Yeah. Getting into a top business school is one reason. .and it’s the only job that will help me save enough to put towards affording a top school as well. I pretty much have my mind made up in terms of doing it(If i get in it will prob be a smaller firm due to my undergrad institution not being prestigious), now I just gotta find a job. .so if any of you have connections. .PM me.
