If you watched the ESPY’S, enough said. By the way, was he balancing on the back wheels of his chair? It really looked like he was.
If you didn’t see it, http://espn.go.com/espy2005/s/05asheaward.html , but this doesn’t really do him justice.

I posted something about this earlier and sadly only one person responded. Not sure why people are so apathetic.
The article on Yeboah, the other winner, in Bicycling was one the few good articles to appear in the magazine in a long time. Both of them sound like incredible examples of human spirit. Along those lines, I posted something on the new documentary “Murderball,” which is about the wheelchair rugby players, and again no one responded. These guys, and guys like Mark Herremans (sp?), are AMAZING.
i finally caught it tonight, after reading your post and a coworker telling me about it. it was a truly an amazing story of courage and perseverance on both of their parts.
The guy is just… there are no words. A good article from Babbitt at Competitor

Also his wheelchair has a balance function and is called an iBot. Developed by the guy that developed the two wheeled scooter thing - Segway?? It can climb stairs too.
