Jetstream nxt vs profile aero drink

can someone help me decide …thanks
.

I can only comment on the Profile. It’s really nice. Just make sure you use the rubber bands that come with it or you will get a lot of rattling. Also I occ. get some fluid that bounces out on bumps. That can get somewhat irritating but I would take that anyday given the convenience of drinking from the bottle.

The other thing I did with my Profile bottle is modify the straw. The straw that comes with it is hard plastic, and sometimes would poke me in the gums or something if I took a little bounce while drinking. I just bought a spare Camelback bite valve and attached it to the straw using electical tape. No more sharp straw.

I really like the jetstream. It’s much simpler than the profile bottle and the scrunchie is worlds better. At ralph’s I had to ditch it though since I couldn’t get my bike to rack properly with it on.

The jetstream (as of the last time I looked at both a couple months ago) is different plastic than the Profile and is softer. It therefore does not rattle like the profile version does when riding on a rough road. Profile does offer a nifty bracket for carrying handlebar drinks systems though, but if the Jetstream “wedge” mounts between your aerobars is the elegant solution.

Yes, if your aerobar extensions are narrow enough to hold the Jetstream in place, it’s a better bottle (better straw, better anti-splash, doesn’t rattle, etc.) But if you have wider aerobars, the Profile aerobracket works much better with a profile bottle than any others (duh) and is overall a better solution for you.
