For the last three or four years at Kona, Jan Sibersen is first out of the water. Which makes him very visible at the first stages of the bike. I am amazed that he gets to ride a different rig each time. I’ve seen him on a Trek, Softride (others I don’t remember) and recently in IM Austria on a Scott CR1 team. Is he a sponsored pro? Bike companies seem to gamble on him considering he is not a renowned cyclist.
Well, considering he did 9:17 this year at IM Canada I’d say he’s upped his cycling and running enough to deserve pro status and a little sponsorship. Can’t wait for Kona. I’m scheduling an all-nighter with ironmanlive.com
Unfortantly Jan did not qualify for Kona this year. He raced for a pro spot at Ironman Austria and Canada. It was a real dissapointment as Jan would like to break the swim course record in Kona. He is certainly capable provided that the conditions are favorable.
Actual Cube, I think. Check out the cover of Triathlete from a couple of months ago. Looks like the one on the Cube website. Hey Keith, Congratulations. Looking forward to seeing you in Kona in a couple of weeks.
