As the title says, not always made the best decisions. I have some guitars that aren’t holding their value as I thought. Maybe bought a car I shouldn’t have (wife that is, for the car). Bought some invenstments based on bad information/marketing that didn’t do so well. More than likely, the value of my home has dropped (don’t really know how much).
Where can I go get the $$ to cover these decisions to make my balance sheet look better, so I can get a do-over and start fresh. Just wondering…
Guess it was obvious where I was going with this, huh?
On one hand, I’m hoping all the bailouts (specifically the new one announced today regarding buying the banks’ bad invesments) do help the economy, since I’ll benefit anyway. On the other hand, I’m tired of always doing the right thing. I really flip-flop on the whole mess.
I heard about this honorable guy in Nigeria who is giving everyone $500,000. Just give him a call and he will ask for all kinds of personal information and then will send your money right away.
I just wonder if the bail outs will make the overall economy better or worse in the long run. My education expoused the benefits of a free market econmy. Nothing at all like what we’re getting.

You should ask for a refund on tuition.

At the risk of missing some joke here, what exactly do you want help with?
If you want someone here to point you in the right direction for financial/legal/tax professional services, I and maybe two dozen other financial professionals can help you find some help. If you want someone to say, “there, there, it will all be alright” well, HTFU and move on.
That being said, is there something more specific we can help you with?
El Gordo, sorry…I was kinda trying to make an anlogy (joke) between me, as an individual making bad decisions and having to live with them…Versus being a large business who gets do-over when they screw up royally.
I guess it was at best a bad attempt and sorry to cause any problem.
For the record, I don’t have any issues as I have been responsible, and continue to be.
