I've been away for a while. Which cheaters should I be looking out for nowadays?

Hey Slowtwitch…I’ve been gone for quite some time. This belly on me is telling me I need to get back into the game. I am going to think about dusting of my bike and registering for another overpriced race.

…So what did I miss? Who are the big cheaters this year? Any verdict on the cyclist from the Pacific Coast Highway?

The biggest cheaters nowadays use motors… allegedly.

I have no idea what you’re talking about with the PCH. Surely there couldn’t have been a 1600-post thread about where cyclists should position themselves, right?

You missed nothing. Don´t cheat and focus solely on your own training and performance. You will find the experience of competing at the amateur level will be vastly improved.

You’re not a 40-something AG female from Canada are you?

I’ll answer later. I’m busy running across the United States. But don’t ask for GPS.

It’s for the children.

Given your extended absence, you may benefit more from the “How long did it take you to recover from…” threads

I don’t know who chuckled more at that…me or my oversized belly.

I’m curious, are “floaty shorts” ever legal? Even in a wetsuit legal race.

Yep. 5 mm of neoprene. It’s exactly the same as wearing a wetsuit, except it doesn’t cover 75 percent of your body.

Anybody who is faster than you is highly suspect!.
