Itunes questions

I’m a late adopter of itunes. I now have 2; 1 classic, 1 nano.

I’m just learning how to use the itunes program.

I bought a friends new CD and, by some stroke of genius, their CD has the music Genre as “unclassifiable”. I dont know if they thought it was clever or their CD company decided to omit the info. Now my smart filter won’t put their music in my ““Rock”” genre smart playlist.

Is it possible to change the Genre?

Right click over the song name and do the Get Info. You can edit it there. (Assuming that you are on a PC.)

Thank’s alot

worked perfect. i could do the whole album at once.

Select all, right click and select “Get Album Artwork” (works only if you are connected)
Bet, you didn’t know that one either  I am a computer wiz
.

Too bad you cannot edit iTunes songs. I cannot believe I bought the University of Phoenix commercial theme song (The Bleeding Heart Show by the New Pornographers) only for the last 2 minutes of the song.

I may have an iTunes addiction.

Not sure if this is what you meant, but you can edit the song start/end times in the Get Info section. I use that for songs that have slow starts or endings, as I have no use for that when running…

Thanks, perfect!

Does this only work with albums purchased through itunes?

Dave

No. It scans your library and updates it. Works even with “shared” music
