It's snowing in Atlanta!

This only happens maybe once a year so it is pretty cool for me. I’m going to set my bike up in the trainer and do a three hour ride in front of my two huge living room windows. This is actually exciting.

Unfortunately, the novelty of the snow in NW WI has worn off. I no longer look forward to a training ride on the trainer. I do however look forward to a 2 hour ski and possibly a 4 mile run thereafter. Enjoy the snow while you can.

How much are you supposed to get? The weather reporters are saying the Philadelphia area is going to get 8-14". 14" would be awesome, cuz then I would get to mash around in my snowshoes.

I doubt we’ll get more than 3" though.

we got that yesterday and last night in Memphis…6 inches! I’m actually on the trainer with slowtwitch on my right, NCAA Bball on the tube< and a view of the snow out the windows to the left. no way i’ll make 3 hours, though . after an hour I start looking for ways to crash so Ican have an excuse to stop.

Snow is rare in the South so enjoy.

NOOOOOOO

Forget the living room with windows…how often do we get a chance to ride in the snow?

Wheels down @ 1:30!

We got 5 feet of it in eastern Washington at Christmas. Still have most of it… If you want, I’ll send you some. Have fun.

That is why I love Los Angeles. I was complaining a few weeks ago when we got our cold spell that I had to ride outside in 45 degrees in sunshine.

And today, it will be 81. That is 81 with no humidity! Love LA!

Did a 1/2 marathon in the Panhandle this morning. The 39F at the start line wasn’t too bad until the 30 mph wind gusts really started to hit.

One of my pals is in northern GA for work this week and is doing a couple of road races there. He mentioned yesterday it may snow. Just told him to stay upright if it does. Of course, he wasn’t prepared for ultra cold.

yeah global warming is a bitch. any of you nerd phds know what i can do to warm this rock up, please let me know. the aeresols and combustion engines aren’t working
