What has been the biggest training change that you have made since doing your first Ironman… and what have been the results.
I didn’t make enough effort to practice my race nutrition on my long bike rides this year. As a result, I bonked 3 miles into the run, and ended up with a run almost an hour longer than last year and possibly lost a Kona slot for that reason alone.
Lesson learned: do a few long rides where you religiously practiced/rely on solely your race nutrition.
Dude.
I trained more and more often.
More cycling = no longer in fear of Cut Off time.
