Has anyone tried out this saddle? I am looking for new saddle for my tri bike. Anyone know about the ISM Adamo? Thanks for your comments.
kinda wide at the front. heard someone say they compressed it with a zip tie?
Yea, I use one. Nice in aero, sucks for the rear if you sit up because no padding. Heard complaints of wideness in the front as indicated above.
Do a search…a lot of threads on this saddle.
I have ridden one for about 30 minutes on a trainer. I was a bit wide for me, but trying Slowman’s zip tie fix would definately be worth a go.
I used it most all of last year. It is meant to be ridden by sitting more forward on the saddle than most seats. Takes the presure off the “jewels”.
For me it really really does do what it claims. No numbness.
I can’t say that it is the most comfortable saddle, but it is comfortable enough.
The wide part in the front can press against your inner thighs, which can be uncomfortable at times.
I can’t believe how many people say that the adamo is too wide, I personally wish mine was a few mm wider in the cutout… I heard the new road model is better for that but I am not going to spend another $200+ to try it…
Now that’s just boasting!
not the type to boast at all, it’s a lot better than any of the saddles I’ve ever used (arione, flite, …), it’s just that if it had been a bit wider it’d have been perfect I think.
The best tri-saddle i ever tried, specially in the aero position, no pain, no pressure, nothing.
