Is www.FantasyTriathlon.com dead?

I have not been able to log onto their website all week - is the party over? Too bad for all those people who were to win a 1 year subscription to a magazine that doesn’t exist anymore.

Message I get when I try to log onto www.FantasyTriathlon.com . The requested URL could not be retrieved

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.fantasytriathlon.com/

The following error was encountered: Unable to determine IP address from host name for unknown server name

Bueller… Bueller… Bueller.

I think the relevant question here is “Were you the only one here playing fantasy triathlon?” ;-)))
.

I have been trying to figure this out for a week–I was doing well too.

You wouldn’t be “competitionzone” would you?

It’s odd because they updated the website like a day or so before it went dark and the website/press release when AmericanTri went under said that Fantasy Tri would be continuing.

Damn! I was also way up there in the standings.

When did AmericanTri go under?

AmericanTri went down about a month ago, but Fantasy Triathlon was yto continue according to their website.

I was actually getting cocky and planning a tentative vacation around Alcatraz–jinxed myself

"You wouldn’t be “competitionzone” would you? "

No that’s me :-). I haven’t been able to access the site for the past week either. I’ve been faithfully making my selections each week all summer, so I hope that it’s not dead.

I was hoping to finish strong and get one of those dozen or so free subsrciptions to American Tri magazine. I wonder what they did with the other prizes that they were offering?

Dave

The American Tri free subscriptions are still on… You want one? I’m handling that for them

–Nice to ‘meet’ you. My FT team is/was ‘my cousin dave’ so you know I was paying attention to the results all summer.

Nice website by the way. Good luck to N.F. in IMF. It’s shaping up to be quite a deep field.
