Yes. It is REALLY cool. I’d say it has a tie with one other item for being the final word in cycling-cool: crisp white shoe covers.
Check it- white tape makes my bikes ca-raaaaazy cool… well, I think so

Matter of fact, my LBS mech will not charge an install fee and will give you tape at cost…providing its white. He says its “therapy” for him. Otherwise, it’s 50% upcharge + time.
Check out the pro peloton…it’s been going on for years.

Yeah it’s cool for about 2 rides then it starts getting gray and it just looks slimy, not cool.
simple green on a clean rag, rub really hard, rinse, ride two or three more times, repeat…

White bar tape ain’t gonna stay white for very long.
Stay white? Not the point. Yes…cool as hell…and it needs to be dirty in all the right spots by the end of the season.
those bikes are awesome! A friend of mine said he saw a tri bike just like yours (or maybe yours) on the broad ripple training ride.

The pro peloton uses white tape because it shows up in the photos. You never see a pro bike with dirty tape either. They get new tape several times a week as needed. Check out Hell of the North photos. Some people do get a therapy experience from taping bars. The white is sort of addictive.
The Devil lies, the plastic Benotto tape is the way coolest tape out there. You should see the great colors under the lights at nite crits or Drome races.(or on acid) The hot pink, forest green, blueblue, and yellow rule. It doesn’t work worth a crap, but it is so stylin.
