I think you have a very good point here. I spent some time over at BT trying to get them to sign up for the smackdowns. Other than teh somewhat annoying fact that they have like 3000 seperate forums, they have alot of articles, archives, training logs which are referencable to posts etc. I think you can actually look at someones recent workouts, times etc etc before telling them to go and do a 40 x 100yd on 1:05 swim set.

I realize TNO out performed ST at IMWI. I am just stating the fact that there are a few frequent posters over there who love to opine about how to “race” Ironman yet they have never done one.

Congrats on making the 122. I don’t know why ANYONE here feels the need to start a thread about TNO. Starting a thread about TNO dying is almost as dumb as replying to it (including me). This is little more than a gossip thread … which would make us old ladies in the beauty shop.
I thought it was funny, I’m calm. I really don’t take much of anything seriously. BTW, I only rode 112 and that was enough. I lurk here but only post on the subject about TNO. There’s nothing wrong with a gossip thread, it’s all in good fun.
