Is this fork an improvement?

Would this fork:

be an improvement over my current one?

How do I determine if it would actually fit? And what’s a decent price to pay for it?

Ah - what is your current one? Surly steel one?

It looks like it has thinner blades than your Look fork, but what size is your headtube? Yours looks like 1" and that fork was 1 1/8.
Chad

Ah, now the photo comes through …

As was mentioned, I think that old Look HSC3 fork is a 1 incher, so no go. Really a more lateral move anyway.

Here ya go:

Aero fork with a 1" steerer
.

now THAT is an upgrade and a sweet fork - nice find! I doubt the OP cares that it is UCI illegal now

edit: doh! OP needs a 650c fork though - tough to find.

NICE! well except for the fact that the LOOK is a 650c fork and the reynolds is a 700c (details, details…)

if the OP wants a 650c 1" aero fork, PM me as i have a reynolds aero pro for sale.

Ahhh good catch. Wasn’t paying attention to wheel size there.

Why do all you guys posting pictures on ST ride on your trainers with aero wheels on with no shirt? By the way it is pretty cool that Nigeria is the centre of the world on your wall map. Also never post on ST without your bike in the big chainring.

As for seat height, well, you know how it goes and I will let smarter guys comment on that

The Reynolds is fast:

But, fastest yet, would probably be a Kinesis Airfoil

I got one on a ST classifieds a few years back for like $30 shipped.

i know AERO trumps all but i have one of those and good lord is it a tank…not that it matters 'cuz it looks very cool.

didn’t john cobb write on ST once about some forks working better with some wheels than others?
