Is this bike too small for me (with picture)

Thoughts?

no
.

Not at all
.

I don’t know if I agree… it does look like the reach is not enough.

Which would be easily corrected with a longer stem. The current one looks rather short to begin with.

Too bad there isn’t an option to change stems on bikes. Boy the cycling industry really missed the boat on that one.

Frodo wants his bike back mr. sam wise!

Shave those legs…

I’d like to see a picture in the drops and get your feedback of how it feels riding in the drops.

Static pictures are always hard, but overall this doesn’t not look too bad.

I agree with others - you might want a longer stem.

A picture or video in the drops would be helpful.

My first thoughts are a longer stem and bars with a deeper drop.

Is it just me or are those compact bars with a shallow drop.

Ken

Yes it’s slightly small, but nothing a cm or two longer stem can’t fix.

It’s impossible to make any meaningful conclusions when you’re in the small ring…

Looks good to me, how does it feel?

Looking at You’re leg in “Down-position” with a slightly bend knee + same with You’re elbows, I’d say it looks pretty good. The longer stem that everyone say’s…hmm… Was my first thought, but as I wrote - You’re position isn’t that bad really.

The question is: why this post?
Do You feel like something isn’t right??

Seat’s too high

+1

And get rid of the saddle bag when you take photos of the bike too.

I got issues

Ball parking your landmarks since your not wearing a tight kit. Looks like you have long arms and legs for your height. 56cm frame?
Looks like a stock Trek 2.3 with vr-c bars. Others say longer stem but I would go with a bar with more reach and drop.

Well, the reach looks a little bit short. To move the saddle a little backward is an easy revisable try and helpful to understand weight for power over the bottom bracket as body balances at race positions …

So all these options say I’m best to get either:

  • A longer stem
  • Handlebars with further reach

The reason I asked if it looks too small is because I feel a bit bunched up on this and a bit cramped and too upright. I already have a medium/long length stem and feel getting a longer one would decrease my handling and stability on the bike.

Would getting a bike say 58cm frame instead of my current 56cm fix these issues?
