Is there a sports doc in the house?

So I’ve had two years w/out having to take a day off (except for scheduled recovery days). I did a race and felt awesome, but woke up with an odd pain above my knee to the side (not IT band). Ok, so I took a few days off, it was a long race, I needed it. Tried to bike, no way, horrible pain. No pain on stairs, no pain when I press all around the area. 1 week went by, I went to my ART person (which I attribute to no injuries since I started) blah blah, try biking again, exact pain comes back after 12 min. Take another week off, try biking, same pain after 12 min. Still running great, no pain, nothin’. What’s really odd: it hurts right at the top where the leg meets the top of the knee on the left leg slightly off center to the left. On the bike, after a while, it will move and settle towards the inside on the right. Back and forth, then it’ll hurt all over-then it will be fine for like 5 min-then it will start this back and forth “psycho” pain as I refer to it. My docs don’t have a clue-has anyone had this before? I know it’s so hard basing info and pain off an internet post, but I’m curious. Of course, I’ve been messing with my bike seat up and down up and down because it always feels so low.
