Is there a place where the wind isn't blowing all the time?

Yeah … before the corn gets planted, the wind blows off Lake Michigan straight to where I am riding … and in strong gusts too. Once the corn is ~ feet tall or so … riding between fields is almost like riding in a tunnell. Pretty cool actually.

That’s my only thought going into the wind, “Be patient, we’re gonna fly after the turnaround.” It doesn’t last as long, but it sure is fun.

El Paso is great. No wind here. Never ever.

Not the El Paso I grew up in. the wind blew a lot in the spring. almost no other time, but the spring…WOW! May parents lived near the mountain and had a neighbor with an anemomter. The wind sometimes exceeed 120 mph in the spring windstorm. Way down in the valley where you are, the wind is WAY gentler.

We get some winds here in the LA area, but it is usually pretty still and doesn’t effect the riding very often. It can HOWL sometimes.

it obviously was a joke…it’s getting worse every year…now the windy season is from january to december
.

Dude, the air has to move!

I’ve heard that El Paso is great…

I guess I’m too much of a dork to get it. It used to only blow in the spring when the dust blew off the desert. (And with the odd thunderstorm.)
