I am looking for a mirror that will work well while I am riding in the aero position. I have tried the glasses mounted type but all I see is my broad, muscular shoulders :). I mounted the mirror on my helmet but I still have to lift my head a lot to see out of it and this caused me to have a bad pain in my neck after a 50 mile ride. FYI I have Vision aerobars so no drops to put a bar end mirror on. I thought about mounting a convex mirror on my left fork somehow.

You just have to use a little ingenuity and electrical tape and it works perfectly. I cut off one of the “tenticles” and slide it over the end of the bar and tape. It takes a little figuring to get the view just right.

There was a commercial product that did that. It was a double mirror that allowed you to look straight down and see an un-reversed forward view.
I use the glasses mounted Take a Look. You just have to turn your head to the left sufficiently to get the mirror clear of the shoulders - at least it works on my narrow shoulders…
A rear view camera would really be the ticket though…
Cool…wonder how much it will be. And whether I’d be able to see it with my presbyopia and with glare… and it’d really be cool if it had audible sensors for approaching traffic…
