Is the Epic Diet fading away?

Have I missed something? Seems like I haven’t heard from Slowman’s (or anybody’s for that matter) diet for quite a long time…

I’m still in, but haven’t been posting as it does seem to have faded away.

I’ve lost 8 pounds since the start of this, am really going well.

Call me Not-Quite-As-Big Duke Six.

I’m thinking of staging a coup, and taking this over from Slowman.

Thanks Big Duke, this is comforting news.

I’m glad to hear I am not the only one who has (hopefully momentarily so) given up his evening beer (hey guys you need beer for vitamins ;-)).

So far I have lost 5 pounds or so but seem to have reached some kind of “plateau”.

I made a silly mistake trying to combine dieting and pre-race tune-up: i had a hilly road race (130 kms and 2500m of vertical elevation) on Sunday morning. I started carbo-loading (or so I thought) on Friday night.

I felt very good for the first 90km and then, guess what, I bonked. Not as usual, I mean, no shaky legs, no cold sweat, only powerless legs that refused to climb… I guess i should have forgotten the diet for at least 5 days.

Nevermind, I am still in, and lookin for those extra 6 pounds to melt away.

still going strong. i’ll write an article today or tomorrow.

I knew you would not disappoint any one of your fellow “brothers and sisters in fat”.

Note: a brother or sister in fat may of course be a skinny one, who can still pinch some fat (hey, who can’t?) and subsequently want to loose it. Do not want to exclude anybody here.

C’mon Slowman, make us proud!
