Looking for an easy to travel with bike and considering the Dimond. I’m due for a new bike, but the pricetag… is it really worth it?
Yes, it is incredibly simple to remove the beam and make it easy to pack. Two bolts.
I got to test ride one at Eagleman and I could feel the difference in how it cut through the air compared to my CD.01. Wish I could have really opened her up, but the little I did was super impressed. My buddy who got one can’t stop saying how amazing it is. We are thinking of jumping him for it soon.

Of note, there is a customized Hen House insert for the Dimond that makes using it with the Hen House easier and more secure.

The new insert called the Carat Case for the Hen House cuts down the time to break down the bike considerably, since you no longer have to wrap it in pipe fitting. I like the fact that I disassemble and reassemble the bike when I travel, it gives me a good opportunity to check everything thoroughly before a race.
Very simply YES!
Yes. Just that easy!
Get a Hen House too and you have the easiest bike setup I’ve ever used for travel.
Agreed.
Also, nice to meet you Sunday at Vineman Jan…
Very simply YES!
Yes, I used the Carat Case/Hen House to take my Dimond to Hawaii 70.3, and packing it was the easiest bike packing job I’ve ever done. Reassembling it for the first time, though, took longer, but I’m meticulous about these things. The second time I put it back together (the return from Hawaii) went much faster. Practice makes perfect.
Oh yeah, the bike is also the fastest one I’ve ever ridden, at least according to my split times and associated power data.

Am I looking at a… bike? Wow that’s an impressive break-down.
Beautiful breakdown. Would a Magura brake setup possibly be more difficult to twist into that configuration due to cable stretch? Need to practice that packing method.

IME experience, no. It’s just as easy to break it down with the Magura brakes.
Hi sir Jordan. Thanks so much for all your input and advice! Finishing assemby this weekend and hope the final bike will pass Slowtwitch aero scrutiny. Best of luck with all your upcoming races!
Wow amazing
.
Wow. This picture may end up selling quite a few bikes. I’m impressed.
You as well Pat! Great race!
