as in loyalty base? desoto makes awesome tri clothing. I think i might have met emilio once in san diego. didn’t know how he looked like at that moment but i was at the factory shop.
i would hope not, desoto doesnt make sub par products and doesnt lure psuedo intellecutal to buy their product.
but desoto has excellent, fast customer service and excellent products. i havent seen anything but quality from their clothing.
well, i’m an apple guy, and a de soto guy. i think both companies make top notch products, and offer great customer service. i don’t think there are very many brands that i feel this way about. there are a few. interestingly, de soto is also an apple guy.
I have never hear of a complaint against them and Emilo has been very responsive and helpful on the board.
My impression is that they are still “small” enough to care about their customers and could probably go bigger if they wanted to, but why ruin a good thing…

Apple has made a lot of individuals successful as a result of creating a lifestyle. I just read an article today about a guy who has made over $600k for creating a simple game and there was an article about a 9 yr. old who created an “etch n’ sketch” type app. so his sister could play with it…

I spent the past year at work on a mac, and it was a stupid machine
that wasn’t intuitive to me and I had trouble navigating. I did like
the functions the f9-f12 buttons though.
I’m and Apple guy and a Desoto guy and for my money the two companies cannot be beat. Both mke great products and both care about their customer and will do what it takes (Within reason) to make that customer happy.
I am not at all an Apple guy as 995 out of 1000 business app’s dont run on them (nor can I bill my clients to fix them)…but DeSoto…for the price you just cant ask for better…and I just plain like to support Emilio.
The main difference: with DeSoto, when you buy buy a Desoto trisuit it will work with any brand of running shoe

I have Sprint and a pink phone…$99.00 Unlimited everything (even GPS and Internet) - $130ish after tax’s.
But, Sprint sucks.
I have a few iPod Nano and Sinhauser (sp) headphones that I run with so no music on a phone.
(I am not sure I would be a hard sell, other than I like to flip to answer my phone)

You dont want an iPhone, you want a Blackberry Bold. It has a real keyboard so you can type while you ride your bike, expandable memory to 32GB for less than 50 bucks, has a higher quality screen than an iPhone, syncs with Itunes, has an app store, is far more stable, and has nothing to do with those idiot hippies at Apple.
I would echo the comments about DeSoto customer service, on more than one occasion I have received a followup up call or e-mail to ensure that a piece of clothing fit perfectly. Thanks guys !

Disclaimer: I don’t hate macs. I own a powerbook and several PC desktops, and my wife uses a mac desktop.
To the OP: i don’t think Desoto is anything like Apple though. Desoto is more like Dell, or Planet X (both in cust service and value for money). Apple is more like Pinarello; value in a form most people don’t understand, but charge a hefty premium for it.
