Yeah, the cost and effort difference for athlete’s coming from Europe has always been a facto but roll-down of zero versus 100+ is just such a stark comparison. I am still surprised and will be interested where places like Australia fit in this range.
My suspicion is that most races outside of North America might have larger than normal room-down but most of my theories and predictions so far have turned out to be wrong

US politics is presently a real factor of consideration for euro/Aus qualifiers.
