Ironman UK 2009 - new venue, Bolton

Hi there,

As you may or may not know Ironman UK has a new venue this year - Bolton, in Lancashire in the North West of England.

For me it means I no longer need to travel the 600 mile round trip to take part as the course is right on my doorstep.

It also means, I will have lots of information on the course, the event and the area that you might not necessarily find on the official site, so I have set my own “unofficial” site up to help with anyone who is interested at all. The domain name is something I am gonna use in future for my photography project, but in the meantime I am using it for this race.
