Ironman race wheel rentals

I am considering renting wheels for Kona from Ironman wheel rentals. Anyone have experience doing this? Good? Bad? Are the wheels in good shape?

Heading down to Miami in a few days and was contemplating renting from IM wheel rentals or going through Race Day Wheels. I am not sure which is better of the two evils and looking for your Slowtwitch thoughts, suggestions, experience with either of the two companies… Please be gentle.

Can’t do a comparison, but I used IM Wheel Rentals for Boulder 70.3. I simply had them install the wheels on site. Very satisfied with the service, and the wheels were in good shape.

Just used Race Day Wheels in Kona, and Marc is great to deal with. Highly recommend him and his company. Can’t really make any comments on Ironman Wheel Rentals, as I’ve never used them.

Thank you both for your feedback. After contacting them, I am going to go with IM wheel rental for convenience as they will be in Miami for the event.
