Any steep hills on this course, ie would a 11/12-23 be ok?
Fine if you’re going to ride 5hrs (Taupo 10-20mins slower than most NA courses). But you might enjoy easier gears for Taupo-Napier hill and the climb back to the racetrack at 170km.
No steep hills but winds were brutal this yr
