Can you please recommend a convenient place to stay for Ironman Langkawi (Malaysia).
Any additional advice about this venue would be greatly appreciated.
Here are all the hotels in the Pantai Cenang area which is where the host hotel and race finish is. It is best to stay in this area and just get taxis to registration and the race start on race morning.

Like most of the SE Asian races ,the host hotel is stupidly expensive compared to hotels in the surrounding area so click on the map and find one that suits your needs.
I’ll be there ( riding in from Bali ) and staying for the fourth time and the Best Star Resort which is right on the beach about 800 meters from the race finish and directly by the town run turnaround.

Hi ThailandUltras, do you know if I can rent a bike for IM Langkawi? Someone reliable so I don’t get last minute surprise of no show. TY
The only bike shop I have ever dealt with on Langkawi is JMB Cycle in the Kuah area of the Island which is 21k from the race finish area but is on the bike course.I know that he does rent road and mountain bikes but you would have to get in touch with him via Insragram or Facebook or WhatsApp
