Did both inaugural races. Went back to Placid 3’x.

LP is a much better swim, awesome bike course, not sure if the out and back is still part of it. Fastest I have ever gone done into Keene at 56mph, seen a few ugly crashes and road rash on the way down. Pace yourself climbing back into LP, Little, Mama & Papa Bear climbs but it’s steady.
The run is just great, scenery wise you will not be disappointed, challenging but it really rolls.
The crowds used to be epic in town, also the Greatful Dead music on the out and back.

Bike has some nice scenery very hard to get in a smooth ride, not sure the out and back is still there which was intense, run is just another uninspired city double loop,
Hands down LP
