Here it is! My first Ironman!!
The swim was more like a wet mosh-pit. The video actually captures some of the chaos. It was one of the best days of my life!
Also, near the end of the video we captured Matt Long finishing just 2 minutes before midnight! Oh, and that other guy who finished EXACTLY at 12:00!!! Amazing. You couldn’t script a better ending to such an incredible day.
Thanks to all the volunteers who kept me going. I’ll be sure to do the same for you next year.
